The universe is written in code and your birth chart is the source file.

That is how astrologer, Beca Bagdocimo, also known as The Code Fairy, sees it. She explains astrology as a logic system or a programming language. It’s a way to read the energy that has been there all along.

Beca predicted her own corporate exit by reading her transits. She journaled about wanting to leave, asked the universe to return her to self employment, and was laid off on the exact date her chart said she would be out of corporate.

Now she lives in a van, does astrology full time, and spends her days teaching people how to better understand themselves through their charts.

In this episode of Art is the New Wall Street, we talked about exiting corporate to build her astrology business, why we're currently in an unprecedented astrological moment, and what my own chart has to say about this podcast, my health, and what comes next.

Astrology as a Programming Language

Before astrology, Beca had an itch to become a full stack Java developer. She signed up for a course, buried herself in syntax and structure, and then had a quiet nudge to look up her birth chart.

The site she used did not show a pretty wheel. It listed everything line by line. Aspects, houses, degrees, all in a stack of text.

Because she was already deep in code, something clicked. She did not see vague symbolism. She saw instructions. Energies that combined, modified, and expressed in a way that felt eerily similar to writing H1 tags or building a function. The sun as one piece of the code. The degree modifying it. The sign shaping how it runs.

Her reaction was simple and immediate.

This is a logic system. It's a programming language. It's all code!

From there, astrology became her new hyper fixation. Java fell away. She dove into charts and transits, learning how to read what she now calls “the language of the universe” and noticing how closely it matched what was actually unfolding in real time.

Leaving Corporate, Right On Time

When Beca went back to corporate after several years of freelancing and working as an artist, she knew it was temporary.

She describes it as a hallway between two doors. She could not go back, but she could not quite go forward yet either. Inside that liminal space, she started studying her own transits and saw a clear theme.

She would be out of corporate by July. She did not know how. She only knew the timing.

The more she paid attention, the more she realized her values did not match the company’s approach to humanity and human rights. She reached the point where she was ready to quit. So she stopped pouring energy into a place that no longer fit and surrendered the outcome in her journal.

Her job was eliminated on July 1st. The exact day her chart said she would no longer be in corporate. On a Capricorn moon, no less, which she laughs about and calls cold and callous.

For her, it was a triple confirmation:

  • The astrology had pointed to the timing

  • Her journal had recorded the desire

  • The universe had handled the rest

The Tarot Campaign, Chris Walker, and the Doorway

Before she ever fully claimed astrology as a career, the signs were already showing up.

The corporate role that became her “doorway job” included a campaign that used tarot imagery. That was the work that originally pulled me to her on LinkedIn. At the time, I just knew it was creative and weird and cool in a way I did not see often in B2B. Only later, listening to her tell the story, does it feel like foreshadowing.

During an onsite at this same company, she met Chris Walker. She did not know who he was. She just knew he sounded enlightened, and she wanted to see his chart.

In front of him and a group of coworkers, she asked for his birthday, birth time, and location, pulled up his chart, took a quick look, and said something like:

“When you were 27, your entire life fell apart, you moved back home, and everything got better after that.”

He froze.

That was exactly what had happened.

Later, she read his chart in depth, talking to him about frequency, code, and how he was here to wake people up. Shortly after, he sold his company, left B2B, disappeared from LinkedIn for months, and eventually launched a frequency app.

Beca does not claim sole credit, but she knows this work played a role.

That experience was one of her first clear signals that she should probably be working behind the scenes with people whose choices ripple out across the collective.

Vanlife and Choosing a Different Reality

When Beca and her partner signed a lease for a new apartment in Arizona, it looked like the dream life on paper.

At the same time, she studied their composite chart and saw something else.

Despite the new lease, the two of them would move between June and August.

Her partner did not believe it at first. Then someone took over their lease on June 1. They moved into a van on July 15, right in the middle of the window she had seen in their chart.

Beca was intrigued by vanlife for quite some time. Vanlife videos, luxury builds, the idea of freedom and mobility. Her chart reflected that curiosity long before it became real.

Beca decided to trust astrology enough to make it her full time work.

Within three weeks of showing up on TikTok to “just yap about the universe,” she had gained about 10K followers, made $15K in a single week from readings, and was booked out for two months.

That early surge has softened for now, which she sees not as a failure but as a teacher. The universe showed her what is possible, then slowed things down so she could deepen her craft.

Reading My Chart Live

In the episode, Beca pulls up my solar return chart on the spot. For anyone new to astrology, a solar return is the moment each year when the sun comes back to the exact degree it was at when you were born. It sets the tone for the year ahead.

A few things stood out.

First, she saw Venus and the moon conjunct in my second house. That is the area of self worth and resources. Venus reflects values, and the moon represents emotional life. When those two planets sit together in the house of worth, the theme is clear:

The only way I make money this year is by doing work that is emotionally aligned with what I truly value.

If it does not line up with my values, the universe is not likely to fund it.

Second, she pointed to my third house, the house of communication, learning, and talking. In my solar return, the sun, Mercury, and Mars all sit there. She called it the year of the pod.

There is a literal spotlight on my voice. My mind is wired for deep, intense conversation.

Mars, the planet of drive, is there too, which means I have the energy to show up again and again.

To her, that means I cannot treat Art is the New Wall Street like a side project. The chart is asking me to go deeper, publish consistently, and have the conversations most people avoid.

She also looked back at 2024 and, by tracking health related asteroids and transits through my sixth house (health, routines, the body), was able to see signatures that lined up with my neuroendocrine tumor diagnosis and surgery. That part felt surreal, and strangely grounding, all at once.

Here comes my solar return chart...please don't hex me!!!

The Collective Reset We Are Living Through

If you feel like something massive is shifting in the world, astrology agrees with you.

Beca walked through what is happening in the sky right now. In her words, the last year has been like a universal reset.

Pluto, the planet associated with power and transformation, moved from Capricorn into Aquarius. Pluto spends about 20 years in each sign and sets the energetic tone of an era. Pluto in Capricorn correlates with corruption, greed, and systems obsessed with power and control.

Pluto in Aquarius is different. It is power to the people. It is revolution energy. Historically, Pluto in Aquarius lines up with periods where empires fall and new systems emerge. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was the era of the American and French Revolutions.

Neptune, the planet of illusion, dreams, and spirituality, spent years in Pisces, which can blur reality and make it easy to be manipulated or lulled to sleep. In March 2025, Neptune officially entered Aries, the sign of action and initiation. The last time Neptune was in Aries was during the American Civil War.

So we are dealing with the energies of BOTH the American Revolution and The American Civil War.

Neptune has since retrograded back into Pisces, which Beca describes as the feeling of standing in deep water and treading in place. Things feel stuck. Confusing. Heavy. Pisces is the end of the zodiac, the place where things dissolve and complete.

By late February into early March 2026, Neptune will move back into Aries and stay there. Coupled with Pluto settling into Aquarius, she predicts a dramatic acceleration. More truth revealed. Systems that have been rotting from the inside finally collapsing in the open.

In simple terms, she sees this as a universal reset. The old world cannot continue operating the way it has. The new one is already humming underneath it. She explained that there will be literal fire in February or March.

Astrology, Politics, and the End of an Era

Beca points out that Donald Trump was elected when Pluto sat at 29 degrees of Capricorn, the final degree before moving into Aquarius. In astrology, 29 degrees is considered a critical degree. A moment of culmination, visibility, and consequence.

Pluto in Capricorn describes greed and corruption.

Electing a president who is a walking archetype of greed, excess, and power abuse on the last degree of that sign is, from her perspective, astrologically inevitable. Not because people had no agency, but because the story needed a clear, undeniable symbol that would expose what had already been happening for years.

She believes this period is forcing us to see the shadow of our systems, especially in the United States, and decide whether we want to keep living this way.

According to her, we will be in this tension for a while. There is still a generational imbalance between Leo energy, which tends to center self, status, and power, and Aquarian energy, which centers the collective. She does not sugarcoat that piece.

What To Do If You Are Stuck in the Old System

If all of this feels overwhelming, Beca’s advice is surprisingly simple.

If you can, get your chart read by an astrologer you trust. It can be disorienting and liberating to see your patterns, gifts, and timing laid out so clearly. It can wake you up to who you have always been and where you are being called to go.

If that is not accessible or not your thing, she returns to two practices: meditation and journaling.

She talks about writing down a specific problem in her journal and watching it resolve almost immediately. She believes we are the universe experiencing itself, which means we hold the answers we keep trying to outsource. Writing is one of the ways those answers surface.

For anyone stuck in corporate, burned out, or sensing that their current life is misaligned, Beca’s message is both mystical and practical. The system is changing. The old story is ending. You do not have to wait for permission to leave a life that no longer serves you.

You can start by listening. To your chart. To your journal. To the parts of you that are already awake.
